Unfortunately, I did not read the news and came in during the Phillipines general election. After reaching Cebu South Bus Terminal - CSBT- (as instructed by the owner in the booking.com chat), I encountered a massive queue which got cut off midway even before I bought the tickets. As it takes about 4 hrs to reach the accomodation by bus, I was in contact with the host. Note: She explained to me patiently on how to go CSBT. Given the fact that I might reach quite late, she also provided me her sister, Lisa (the staff at the accoms) number. Lisa was extremely kind and patient to me as well. She provided me a private driver as it was almost 5pm at CSBT. A second unfortunate thing happened to me, the private driver was also stuck in traffic as everyone in the city was going back to the province to vote. As such, I had to wait another 2 hours but Lisa was in constant communication with me with regular updates on the private driver's whereabout. After taking a total of 9 hours to arrive the accomodation at 10pm, Lisa cooked for me a curry chicken for me. Such service is remarkable by both sisters. Lisa also provided me a motorbike driver to visit Osmena peak, kawasan canoyneering and maninit hot spring. As I only stayed one day, she offered me to extend my stay for a few hours (with a small fee) as it could be rush. Lisa also provided me with a piece of paper on the attractions nearby.

We had such a wonderful stay here. We felt truly welcomed. The vibe here was so genuine and mellow. The staff is so friendly and calming and accomodating. The food from the kitchen was truly delicious, and also so fairly priced, which is soooo important because you are a bit isolated along the coast here, which can be a great thing if you have everything you need, and a bad thing if you don’t. But you most certainly do. We rented scooters, ate meals, explored up and down the coast, had cocktails in the evenings, enjoyed the pool and the sunsets, and met so many wonderful people here from near and afar. Highly recommend. Excellent for basing yourself for a visit to both Inambakan falls, Kawasan Canyoneering, Hot Springs, and more.

Nice big rooms in a great non-tourist destination IF you are chasing waterfalls and hot springs (Mainit is only 15 min away and many of Cebu's best waterfalls 15-30 min away). At night you only hear the rhythmic crashing waves (even drowns out roosters and dogs!) which is fantastic. The resorts meals are delicious and large portioned. You can rent motorbikes (though they are dated). This is not a place for you if you are looking to meet many people or find trendy bars and restaurants etc. The neighbouring towns have small Philippino stands and bakeries. Everyone waves and smiles and welcomes you into their small town.

This place is absolutely exceptional! Beautifully maintained, clean, and full of charm—perfect for relaxation and rest. The staff is incredibly friendly, always helpful, and smiling, making the stay even more enjoyable. The accommodation prices are very affordable, and the restaurant offers delicious food at reasonable prices. Plus, the stunning views and direct access to the beach and ocean make it a true paradise! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and peace in a beautiful setting.

The staff and location were excellent! The vegetarian options were excellent as well! This place also rents scooters at a great rate, and this was by far the best "extra" of the location, giving us the freedom to move as much as we wanted. Honestly, this is the best place to stay if you're looking for an "off the beaten trail" (though by no means isolated) location and great staff that help in any way they can. Also, the bus driver from Cebu knew the hotel itself and dropped us off at the front door!
